How to get help

If you need help from our foodbank there are a few simple steps to follow.

Collecting a Food Parcel

  1. Contact one of our referral agencies. They will be able to provide you with a voucher to collect a food parcel from one of our centres.
Our main referral agency is Aberdeen Citizens Advice. You can contact them on 01224 569750 (Open 10am – 3pm, Monday to Friday)
  2. When you have received your voucher, head to your chosen foodbank centre during their operating hours. You can find a list of our local centres and opening times here.
  3. Please bring your voucher and some form of identification with you. Present this on arrival to exchange your voucher for an emergency food parcel. You are welcome to grab a hot drink and biscuit and chat with a volunteer or an advisor for further support.
  4. If circumstances change and you are unable to collect your parcel please let us know.

Delivery Service

If you require a parcel, but cannot collect it, we offer a delivery service in exceptional circumstances and only within the Aberdeen city area.
Please call Aberdeen Citizens Advice on 01224 569750 (Open 10am – 3pm, Monday to Friday) if you require a parcel delivered. They will be able to provide you a voucher for a delivery. Our deliveries happen once a week on Wednesdays.

If you have any further questions our FAQ’s page may help, or feel free to give us a call.
